Thanks to all who attended the launch of My Sense Of Blind and Other collected Poems in the writers Centre, parnell Square, Dublin 1 on the 11th of November. The evening was transformed in to more than the usual launch of a volume of poetry due to the significant contribution made to the event by retired sports broadcaster, Micheal O’Muircheartaigh, who read five of the poems and took the assembled gathering through a reflective view of the poet in Ireland from ancient times to the present day.
